Mr.
Spicer’s principal areas of practice are Business and General Litigation,
including civil trial and appellate practice in State and Federal Courts;
and, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death.
Mr.
Spicer received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from
Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York in 1990; and, his Juris Doctor
degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1998. Mr. Spicer is
admitted to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of the state of
Maryland.
Prior
to joining Jones & Associates, Mr. Spicer was an Assistant State’s Attorney
in The State’s Attorney’s Office for Baltimore City for five and one-half
years, from August, 1999 to March, 2005, in the Special Operations Division,
and then the Homicide Division of the State’s Attorney’s Office. Mr.
Spicer’s principal area of practice while at the State’s Attorney’s Office
was litigation of criminal matters.
From
August, 1998 to August, 1999, Mr. Spicer had the honor of being the Law
Clerk for the Honorable William D. Quarles, Circuit Court of Maryland for
Baltimore City.
From
February, 1998 to August, 1998, Mr. Spicer had the honor of being the
Legislative Aide for Senator Paul S. Sarbanes, United States Senator for the
State of Maryland.
From
1990 to 1993, Mr. Spicer worked at Maryland National Bank, and from 1994 to
1998, worked at Mercantile Bank and Trust, both, in Baltimore, Maryland.
Mr. Spicer hails from Cambridge, Maryland, where he
received his primary and secondary education. Mr. Spicer is a member of the
American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and The Bar
Association for Baltimore City. |
